Custom Cell Line Engineering
Target cells are a critical component of primary immune cell effector assays. Whether investigating T cell dependent cellular cytotoxicity or antibody dependent cellular cytotoxicity, we deliver engineered target cells for the evaluation of effector cell function, activation and molecule specificity.

More interested in cell lines with
endogenous expression of your gene of interest?
We can engineer cell lines to express a target antigen or reporter gene of interest in a desired genetic background. You can choose from the cell lines we have stocked on site, or we can procure a cell line on your behalf.

Why choose Antibody Analytics for cell line development?
Our team has experience in generating genetically engineered cell lines for a variety of purposes. In addition to standard cell line production where a gene of interest is constitutively expressed in an immortalised cell line background, we have created bespoke engineered cell lines for a variety of downstream purposes. These include over-expression of proteins for protein purification (e.g. purified receptor generation), creation of inducible promoter cell lines, reporter gene expression and even difficult to engineer primary cells such as T cells with chimeric antigen receptors.
Our team will advise on the selection of cellular background and appropriate promoter combination to meet your needs, coupling this with our crafted strategies to ensure rapid stable cell line production while maximising gene expression.
Need to test your newly-created cell line in a functional or cell-based assay? We can support that too. We can meet both your target and effector cell needs, with our range of immortalised cell lines, custom engineering services and large stocks of primary human immune cells at our disposal.

How would a customer typically
use our services?
First and foremost, our focus is to support developers of immuno-oncology drug candidates, who are trying to either enhance a patient’s own immune response in situ, or ex vivo by way of engineered immune cell therapies. We have a suite of in house primary immune cell assays to measure and interrogate various aspects of primary immune cell and engineered immune cell function.
Our molecular biology team is here to support the development of these therapeutic modalities, by providing engineered target cells for use in our translational discovery or potency assays. Whatever your goals, our immunologists and expert biologists will work together to create a custom immune cell assay and target cell line set up for you.

Mental Health Awareness Week 2022
The week will explore feelings of loneliness, its impact on our mental health and how we can all play a part in combating isolation within our community.
World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2022
As scientists, we have an innate desire and duty of care to protect and prevent accidents and diseases. In doing so, we have developed a strong occupational safety and health (OSH) culture that values and safeguards our employees. Built on inclusion, we work together to find effective, appropriate, and sustainable solutions that promote the right to health and safety in the laboratory.
The Second to None Secondment
As agents of change, we’ve switched things up in the laboratory. To celebrate this period of change, we’ve sat down with Hannah Findlay to see how her secondment into the Research and Development (R&D) department aligns with the continual growth of Antibody Analytics.
From Operations to R&D in 400 days
As you’ve probably heard, Antibody Analytics is expanding, and so is our development opportunities. To celebrate our growth, we’ve sat down with a very talented lady who, with her hard work and determination, has attained a secondment in the Research and Development...
Levelling Up with Antibody Analytics
To celebrate our continual growth, we sat down with the team to see what ignited the move from academia to Antibody Analytics.
British Science Week: From bench to bedside and beyond
The 11th of March 2022 marks the start of British Science Week, a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM). This year, the theme is ‘growth,’ so it’s only fitting that we take you on a journey from the bench to the bedside and beyond.
Senior Customer Success Manager
As Senior Customer Success Manager (CSM), you will be a specialist in creating long-term, trusting relationships with our customers to ensure that the company has access to quality projects aligned with the company’s direction. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to successfully meet your order and performance targets by developing a number of trusting customer relationships that promote retention and loyalty with a general aim to increase service utilisation and overall positive experience with the brand within existing customer accounts. You may also be required to oversee a team who manages a broad range of customer accounts and be responsible for meeting the pre-set targets within your and the accounts managed by the team.
Senior Study Manager
As Senior Study Manager you will be a specialist in the management of projects within a specific scientific subject area. You will lead projects within your specialist area and through your broad technical understanding of a wider range of methodologies and the drug development process, supervise studies within other scientific areas as required. You may be required to oversee a team who manage a broad range of customer studies. You will be responsible for the delivery of revenue within your directly, and indirectly managed studies. You will have regular and frequent direct contact with customers and will represent the Company during client communication and other external events.
Senior Study Scientist
As a Senior Study Scientist, you will be a technical specialist within at least one specific subject area of Translational Immunology,
Bioassay or SPR. You’ll be responsible for conceptualizing technical projects and working closely with the Study Manager to ensure
that customer studies meet the intended objective. You’ll also lead a small team of expertly trained Study Scientists working on
projects across a range of subject areas, ensuring that the customer study’s objectives are achieved. Once full training and probation
is complete, you will participate in our weekend on call rota.
Bioanalytical Study Manager
Company values, of problem solving, teamwork, and leadership to enable the highest customer study output possible. A focus on their role as study manager within their team is the highest priority, including participating in internal training schemes, technical learning, being able to plan and manage their workload and to provide technical support to Study Scientists.
Study Scientist
As a Study Scientist, you will take all the skills, learning, knowledge and experience gained as a Junior Study Scientist to the next
level. You will have the opportunity to expand on your practical laboratory techniques over several different areas and start to hone
these skills to become specialised in one or more areas within the group. For most tasks, you will work independently, though with
guidance from a Senior Study Scientist, you will support the study management team throughout the customer project by
contributing to various aspects of the wider project, including, but not limited to, co-ordination of data analysis, analysis template
preparation and preparation of laboratory paperwork, as well as by taking action to keep a project progressing effectively and
efficiently.
